Open Disinfection gate
U-Protect Disinfection Gate is a device capable of eliminating 99% of viruses, bacteria, molds and spores thanks to the action of 12 lamps that emit Far UVC at 222nm, a disinfectant technology considered completely safe for eyes and skin. The device starts automatically thanks to an infrared motion sensor. Ideal for installation at entry/exit points and high traffic areas, U-Protect Disinfection Gate is particularly suitable for companies, railway stations, airports, museums, cinemas, shops, supermarkets and schools.
FAR UVC (222 nm) – A safe bactericidal technology for humans
The studies conducted by Buonanno, M., Welch, D. and Brenner, DJ, by Ushio® Inc. etc., have shown that the Far UVC 222nm do not represent a danger to humans and that they can also be used in presence. The study by researchers at Kobe University, published in August 2020 in “PLOS ONE”, also contributed to confirming the safety and bactericidal effect of Far UVC 222 nm irradiation on healthy humans. The 222nm UVC Fars did not cause any erythema on the study participants even at high doses (up to 500 mJ/cm2).
