U-Protect HandGo is able to disinfect hands and eliminate 99% of viruses, bacteria, molds and spores in just 5 seconds thanks to the action of Far-UVC 222 nm rays, a technology 100% safe for eyes and skin. Ideal for installation in highly frequented places such as shopping centres, restaurants, schools, airports, hospitals, public toilets and hotels.
FAR UVC (222 nm) – A safe bactericidal technology for humans
The studies conducted by Buonanno, M., Welch, D. and Brenner, DJ, by Ushio® Inc. etc., have shown that the Far UVC 222nm do not represent a danger to humans and that they can also be used in presence. The study by researchers at Kobe University, published in August 2020 in “PLOS ONE”, also contributed to confirming the safety and bactericidal effect of Far UVC 222 nm irradiation on healthy humans. The 222nm UVC Fars did not cause any erythema on the study participants even at high doses (up to 500 mJ/cm2).
